You are free to choose, but you are not free from the consequences of your choice. – Unknown
All of us have a deep longing to be loved, accepted and valued! Each of us is looking for a group to identify with, a small group of folks we can share our life with and a place where we can be who we truly are. When you enter my counseling office I want you to feel that you are entering that safe place. My desire is to provide a space where you can be (or learn to be) your authentic self. I believe that most of us hide behind a mask at some point or another. If we are going to grow into the person God wants us to be, we must learn to lay down our masks, and be true to who we are created to be. As I have worked with people and walked through my own mess, I have found we often hide behind masks because we see ourselves as marred, broken or unacceptable. Sometimes those scars of brokenness are caused by what others do to us and sometimes they are caused by our own choices. My hope is that through the counseling process we can began to heal the hurts, brokenness and scars of our lives that cause us to feel we need hide who we truly are. It’s time to the masks off and live as the wonderful creation God has called us to be! I want to partner with you in removing the masks and in becoming the person you want to be!
