About Liz
I love working with couples, families, teens, adults, and the elderly. I am EMDR trained and have professional experience in the legal industry, with couples and families, as a court mediator. Having been a 3-sport athlete through high school, before playing basketball at the collegiate level, I also offer sports counseling for competitive athletes, from individual to team sports. Additionally, I have a background in theology and world religion for those looking to incorporate faith/spirituality into therapy.
Coming to counseling can be scary. Like you, I’ve been on the client-side of the counseling room and experienced that first-time feeling of the unknown, walking through the door. That’s why I promise to offer my clients a judgment-free place to feel safe, heard, and accepted, and my approach is tailored to meet the specific needs of each unique person. It takes courage to heal, but I believe that together we can turn wounds into wisdom and discover wholeness from brokenness.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing guitar, cooking, and hiking. I love a good adventure and traveling to far-away lands, or at least reading about them in my favorite historical fiction novels.
